Anyone who manages client profiles on Google knows the scene: the profile is created, the client records the verification video and, days later, a rejection or suspension arrives with no clear explanation. In most cases the problem is not the video. It is the type of address that was entered.
1. The address is not where customers are served
Google only accepts a public address when customers can go there during the listed hours and be served by someone from the business. Virtual offices, coworking addresses without signage, P.O. boxes and the address of a property the company manages (common with real estate agencies and short-term rental managers) do not pass.
If the business goes to the customer, or works online with local service, the right setup is a service-area business: the address stays hidden and you list the cities or neighborhoods served.
2. Extra words in the business name
Adding a city, a service or a slogan to the name ("X Clinic — Dentist in Miami 24h") is a frequent reason for suspension. The name must match the storefront, the website and the official documents.
3. A verification video that does not prove the business
The video must show, without cuts, three things: the street or location, something that identifies the business (sign, uniform, branded vehicle, work equipment) and proof that you run the business (opening the door with the key, showing the register or the equipment). A video showing only the owner's face or only a document is usually rejected.
4. Before asking for a new review
- Check that the name, phone and website match the client's website and social profiles.
- Switch to a service area when there is no address that receives customers.
- Pick the most specific primary category possible.
- Record a new video following the steps above instead of resending the old one.
- Do not create a new profile to "start over": a duplicate profile makes the review worse.
Once approved, keep watching
Approved profiles also drop: someone suggests an edit, the hours get outdated, a bad review goes unanswered. In MyXet, the manager sees every client profile in one dashboard, with alerts when something changes and with results measured on the client's website.
